Dr. Marcus Goncalves has been providing management coaching and mentoring since 1988 at global scale traveling often to attend the needs of his clients in South America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, as well as in the U.S. and Canada. Marcus offers three levels of mentoring programs: Creative Management (CM), High Performance Management (HPM), and Management Mastery (M&M).

1. Creative Management

The creative management coaching and mentoring program runs for six months (renewable) of unlimited access to mentorship and coaching via e-mail, phone, fax, regular mail, and at least two face-to-face meetings every month at a mutually-convenient time and place. Under this program you will receive help with business strategies such as setting up fees, developing a brand and visibility, positioning your business and services/products, setting up your business plan for expansions, etc. You will also receive tactical mentoring in running your business successfully, from how to communicate effectively in meetings down to specifics, evaluating proposals, negotiating agreements, overcoming objections, resolving conflicts, etc.

The fee for this unlimited access to mentoring and advisory program is $5,000, which discriminates those who are serious about their business, and is easily regained through increased business and/or higher fees, as well as a rich amount of materials you will receive, from proven business templates, referrals, leads, and inner circle professional networking. Inclusion to this group is limited. If there are no openings there is a "first come, first served" waiting list.

Once you join the program there will be a “needs assessment” meeting, where we will reach a mutual decision as to specific requirements you and/or your business demands. I will be asking a lot of question on that day, will analyze your business, your team, including you, the current market conditions affecting your products and/or services and force fields. We will agree on business targets, I’ll set expectations, and basic value propositions. We then will establish mentoring objectives. At first we may have to communicate daily, other times weekly, and later on possibly monthly. But it will be up to you how frequently we interact, and how we do so. I will always commit to return all phone calls and email within agreed-upon times, not to exceed 24 hours.

You must pay the fee to begin the program or 50% of it to claim a place on the waiting list. This fee is non-refundable, no exceptions. You may, however, place this program “on-hold” at any time, for up to three months at a time, at which time we stop the calendar until you're ready to restart the program.

2. High Performance Management

If you or your business require a highly structured relationship with additional accountability for meeting, business targets and end results, then you may be a candidate for the this six months high performance management program. In this program we will choose and agree on those areas of which are of highest priority to you or your business, and create:

1. A detailed game plan with very specific goals, objectives, work breakdown structure, network of activities, with completion dates, and

2. A formal and regular schedule of one-on-one contact times to discuss cost and schedule variances, accomplishments and any obstacles preventing short-term tasks from being completed. We will enforce completion dates and task accomplishment, and do whatever necessary to attain such deliverables.

Some of the areas we will be working with include but is not limited to strategies in contacting prospects, creating publicity materials, developing a brand, thought leadership, developing new products and services, expanding into new markets (we have contacts all around the world), etc. We typically focus on three or four at a time and provide all the support necessary, backed up by templates with very specific tasks and completion dates. This High Performance Management program provides for externally enforced business discipline, in that you are accountable for specific completion activities on certain dates on which we follow-up with you. If you or your business needs increased structure to attain higher performance in business and management, and there is a sense of urgency to it, this program is ideal for you. This program, for being demanding in seeking higher performance, cannot be place on hold. It will run continuously for six months. The admission fee to this group is $7,000.

3. Management Mastery Program

This program also runs for six months, but it is very selective, designed for those executives typically running early stage companies, starting a business, and in need of an effective jump-start, from conception to business plan development, capital raising, process development, and eventually sustainability. This program consists of an initial full weekend of coaching and advising, at an off-site location, to avoid distractions, and be immersed in all important aspects and needs of the business and you, as an executive. This program then adopts the same characteristics of the CM and HPM programs; except that at the end of the six-month cycle there is another off-site weekend program to evaluate progress set new goals based on capability mature model as per the Project Management Institute’s OPM3 (organization project management maturity model) methodology.

The weekend sessions are open to spouses and significant others, as there will be plenty time to decompress, dine, and socialize with the group. The fee for this program is $10,000, which includes the two weekend expenses, and all materials.
